About

Born in Georgia and raised abroad from the age of three, my identity was formed through growing up across multiple countries and cultural environments. This constant movement shaped a layered perception of memory, belonging, and visual symbolism that continues to inform my artistic language.

I began my artistic practice after the birth of my child — a moment that catalyzed a profound return to making and transformed creativity into a deeply reflective act. What started with observational botanical painting gradually evolved into a process of reduction, where recognizable forms dissolve into distilled visual elements.

My work explores how memories, experiences, and accumulated knowledge are translated into form. Through cut, painted paper and drawing, I construct compositions that function as fragmented archives — assembling simplified shapes that echo vessels, organic structures, and symbolic objects.

These forms operate as carriers of memory, reflecting the layered environments, cultures, and histories that have informed my life. Positioned between object and symbol, the works propose a visual language where personal narrative and collective memory intersect.

Working as an emerging artist, I approach form as a system of reconstruction — gathering fragments of lived experience and reorganizing them into new visual constellations
